POLICIES
Rush Policy
Last-minute tickets—rush tickets—may be available just before showtime when advance tickets have sold out. A rush line will form outside the venue usually one hour before showtime. Approximately ten minutes prior to the screening, empty seats are counted and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis to those in line. Rush tickets will only be sold to those actually waiting in line. No discounts, cash only. Rush tickets are not available at the Pacific Film Archive Theater.
Arrive Early
Ticket and pass holders must arrive 15 minutes prior to show time to guarantee admission. Ticket or pass holders arriving less than 15 minutes prior to the show time cannot be guaranteed a seat, even with a ticket or a pass. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be given to ticket or pass-holders turned away after this time.
Seating
Patrons must exit the theater after every screening. Patrons with tickets to another film in the same theater (or in another theater) must return to the ticket holder line, located outside the venue. Priority entry is available only for CineVisa holders and Film Society members with Gold Cards. CineVisa holder and Gold Card holders must exit the theater and return to the priority seating line.
Discounts
Member discounts apply to members of the San Francisco Film Society and Pacific Film Archive whose memberships are valid through May 31, 2011.
Senior discount applies to persons aged 62 and older. Students must be enrolled full-time and must present a valid ID at the time of the order. Disabled persons must present valid ID at the time of ordering as proof of eligibility. Senior, student and disabled discounts apply to one ticket per person per screening, and may only be purchased in-person.
The Fine Print
All orders are final. No refunds, exchanges, substitutions, or replacements will be issued. Each order, except in-person, is charged a nonrefundable processing fee of $1.50 per ticket. There is no additional fee for CineVouchers, CineVisas and the Festival Premier Package. This fee is waived for Memberships at the Film Director level and above. There is no fee when redeeming CineVouchers or buying memberships. Members can purchase up to two tickets per event at the member price; dual members can purchase up to four tickets per event at the member price. Members at the Film Director level and above have no cap on the number of tickets they can purchase at the member price. SFFS is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten or damaged tickets, passes, vouchers or any item misdirected by the post office. If you sometimes experience delivery problems, choose Will Call. Must be at least 21 years old to attend Opening Night, Closing Night and Centerpiece parties and Midnight Awards. Proof of age is required at the door. Liquor laws require patrons under 21 to sit in the orchestra section for all shows in House One at the Sundance Kabuki Cinemas.
