The San Francisco Film Society is accepting requests for accreditation for the 2011 San Francisco International Film Festival (April 21–May 5) from film industry professionals and representatives of media arts organizations. Accreditation provides a variety of benefits including access to screenings, events, networking opportunities and specialized Festival services.
Celebrating 54 years, the San Francisco International Film Festival, the first in the Americas, is internationally renowned for its adventurous programming and sophisticated audiences. SFIFF is recognized as an excellent platform for new independently produced narrative features, documentaries, shorts, animations, television productions, experimental films and youth-produced works from across the country and around the world.
The 2011 Festival will showcase 188 works and host more than 250 filmmaker and industry guests.
There are two types of accreditation available for the 2011 Festival: Network and Industry. Availability is limited.

Application for accreditation is open through Friday, April 15. Applications submitted after this deadline will be subject to a $25 late fee. Go to SFIFF54 Industry Accreditation to complete and submit your application. If your application is approved, you will be contacted by the Industry Office to process your application fee. Accreditation in all categories is granted at the sole discretion of the San Francisco Film Society; badges are name-specific and non-transferable.
